Mix Your Textures For Depth And Definition

Texture is probably not the first thing you think of when you’re planning your décor, yet the mix of tactile textures is just as important as the visual elements in creating a comfortable and stylish home.

Different surfaces work together to give a room visual depth and definition. A room with all-smooth surfaces will seem one dimensional, and flat; there will be little warmth to the scheme like this. In the living area, a feature wall would not have the desired effect with smooth tiles.
