Samples

What are the samples for?

We understand that it can be hard to choose a tile online, so that’s why we offer our sample service. With our cut or whole tile samples in your hands, you can better imagine and envision your latest interior design project.

While we do our best to present the most accurate tile images regarding colour, pattern and shading on our website, we’d always recommend ordering a tile sample to see how it matches your specific interior or exterior environment.

How many samples can I order?

We offer you 3 tile samples for free*, but you can actually order as many as you want! For orders that contain more than 3 samples, you'll be charged the whole tile price, or just £1 for a cut sample depending on the range.

*This includes cut tile samples or small whole tiles under £1 in value.

How do I order samples?

When you’ve found the right tile for you, simply click the ‘Order a sample’ button, then the ‘Add to basket’ button. When you’re ready to checkout, the 3 free samples will be deducted from your total basket. Then, it’s just a matter of entering your delivery details and confirming your order!

What sample sizes will I receive?

The cut tile samples are cut down to an approximate size of 100 x 100mm to make postage easier, as they will fit through most letterboxes (full tile samples are also available). If over £1 in value those tiles will be charged at full price, but postage & packing will be free. Tiles samples over 600x600mm can only be collected from one of our stores.

How do I make the most of my samples?

When checking the colour and finish of your samples, be sure to do it in the room that they will be used in, using both daytime and evening lighting when viewing. Also, be sure to place them in the position they will be fixed, i.e. vertical if used on a wall and horizontal if used on the floor, as the light can often differ.

What happens if my tile samples arrive broken?

We pack each sample order very carefully so this is unlikely to happen, but should you find broken sample(s), please contact us on helpdesk@tileflair.co.uk or call 0117 959 8891 and we can help you.

Can I place multiple sample orders to get more free tiles?

We check each free tile sample order against previous orders, so may either contact you to see if you would like to pay for the extra tiles or cancel any additional orders, if they are deemed to be an attempt to obtain more than the 3 allowable free tile samples. Please give us a call if you only need a few more tiles and we’ll do our best to help you in any way that we can.

Do you offer samples of your Premium Glass tiles?

We don't offer Premium Glass tile samples, however, we have a fantastic range for you to look atonlineand in ourTileflair stores.

Ordering

How do I order tiles?

When you have found the right tile for you, simply enter the qty or m² tile quantity in the boxes shown, then click the ‘Add to basket’ button. We always advise ticking the 10% cuts and wastage box just in case you have any breakages or need to make lots of cuts during installation. Not to mention that it’s always useful to keep some tiles as spares in case you ever need to replace any! When you’re ready to checkout, it’s just a matter of entering your delivery details* and confirming your order!

* If you’re outside of our standard delivery area, you’ll see a message at checkout to call us so we can give you a bespoke delivery quote.

How do I cancel or change an order?

As long as the order has not been dispatched, then just give us a call on 0117 959 8891 between 8:00am-5:00pm weekdays (4.30pm Friday) and we’ll be happy to help with any changes that you may require.

Do you offer quotes?

Absolutely, we’re always here for any help and advice! What payment methods do you take?

Our website is able to accept major UK payment methods including Mastercard, Visa & Paypal.

What does 'sold by pack/box' mean?

These products only come in a pack/box including multiple tiles, instead of ordering in singles. Simply enter your required m² on the product page to see how many packs/boxes are required. A detailed breakdown of what’s included is shown in the product description.

What does 'special order' mean?

Special order tiles are often more unique in style, and while available to purchase, we do not hold permanent stock of them as they are ordered direct from the factory for you. The standard lead time for these tiles is 3-4 weeks, providing the factory have stock.Luxury Vinyl Tiles take 5 working days, but as they are a special order, they are non-cancellable and non-returnable once shipped. We always recommend you order plenty of extra tiles to avoid a lengthy delay to your project just in case you have not ordered enough.

Are the tiles I order from the same batch?

Each individual tile order will use tiles from the same batch, so we always advise adding 10% for cutting and wastage before putting into your basket. Subsequent orders may be from different batches and our clearance tiles could be from mixed batches of tiles or discontinued goods.

What are your ‘clearance offer’ tiles?

Clearance tiles are the same quality as the rest of the tiles sold in Tileflair stores and online, but due to the nature of the product and the manufacturing process, each batch of tiles we buy from our suppliers can sometimes be a slightly different shade or tone. This means that we may end up with some tiles left over from a batch that do not exactly match the tiles we receive on our next delivery from the manufacturer. Consequently, tiles sold in the clearance section may all be the same batch or could be a mix of batches depending on the quantity required.

In addition, we discontinue lines from time to time and these tiles are then placed in the clearance section. Discontinued lines may also contain more than one batch and we can only sell the quantity of tiles that we have and cannot supply more in the future.

Are there any restrictions on your coupons/discount codes?

Our standard coupon/discount codes apply to nearly all of our fantastic tile ranges! Only our core collection, special orders, clearance and 20mm outdoor tiles are excluded.

Delivery

Do you offer free delivery?

We offer free delivery* for all orders over £349 to UK Mainland addresses, excluding some regions in Scotland including the Scottish Highlands & Islands.

*Excludes trims & glass splashbacks.

How long do I have to wait for sample deliveries?

Samples are usually dispatched within 2-3 working days via Royal Mail 1st class delivery.

How long do I have to wait for my tile delivery?

We aim to dispatch all orders within 3-5 working days of receiving the order. Once you have placed your order a member of our team will contact you to confirm your order details and to arrange a delivery date that is convenient for you. Where do you deliver to?

We deliver to the whole of the UK! Our standard pricing applies to UK Mainland addresses, excluding some regions in Scotland including the Scottish Highlands & Islands. For these regions we’ll be happy to discuss delivery options with you, just email helpdesk@tileflair.co.uk or call 0117 959 8891.

How much is delivery?

We offer a parcel delivery service of £20 for items under 20kg and free delivery* to most mainland UK addresses for any orders over £349. For all other orders delivery will cost £34.99. For any areas outside our standard delivery area, you’ll be prompted to give us a call so that we can provide you with a quote.

Can I decide my own delivery day?

Once you have placed your order a member of our team will contact you to confirm your order and to arrange a delivery date that is convenient for you. If you require an urgent delivery, please email helpdesk@tileflair.co.uk or call 0117 959 8891 and we will do our best to help.

What happens if I'm out for my delivery?

If you are not in when delivery is attempted on the agreed date, then we will provide you with a quote to redeliver. We cannot leave your delivery without a signature.

What happens if my order is not delivered in its time slot?

We will do our best to keep you informed of any potential delivery issues should they occur. However, please contact us straight away on 0117 959 8891 if any unnotified delays take place and we will attempt to contact the delivery company for an update on your order.

Can I pick up my tiles from your stores?

If more convenient, you are more than welcome to pick up any orders from your local Tileflair store. Just select the ‘pick-up from store’ option at checkout and email helpdesk@tileflair.co.uk or call 0117 959 8891 to have this arranged. Please be aware that tiles are very heavy and your vehicle must be safely loaded. Please contact us if you would like to know the total weight of your order prior to collecting.

How are trims delivered?

Trims are dispatched via a 24hr (working day) express delivery service for £19.99 and are excluded from the £349 free delivery offer.

How are premium glass splashbacks delivered?

Premium glass splashback sare dispatched via an express delivery service for £19.99 and are excluded from the £349 free delivery offer.

Will the driver bring my tiles into my house/garage?

Due to insurance restrictions, your tiles will be delivered on a pallet and dropped at the kerbside, the driver cannot help with the packing or moving of the goods. Please make arrangements to safely move your delivery off the roadside and be aware that boxes of tiles are very heavy.

Refunds & Returns

Can I cancel my order and return the tiles?

If you wish to return your tiles, then please email helpdesk@tileflair.co.uk or call 0117 959 8891.

  • You must inform us within 14 days starting on the last day you receive delivery of the goods.
  • You must return the tiles to us within 14 days after you inform us to wish to cancel your order.
  • We will then refund you within 14 days from the last day we receive the goods back from you.
  • You will be required to pay return delivery costs.
  • Tiles must be returned in a resalable condition and in their original boxes.
Can I return surplus tiles?

If you wish to return your surplus tiles, then please email helpdesk@tileflair.co.uk or call 0117 959 8891.

  • You must inform us within 14 days starting on the last day you receive delivery of the goods.
  • You must return the tiles to us within 30 days after you inform us to wish to cancel your order.
  • We will then refund you within 14 days from the last day we receive the goods back from you.
  • Tiles must be returned in a resalable condition and in their original boxes.
  • We do not accept loose tiles as returns.
  • We do not accept returns of our clearance tile range.
What happens if my tiles are damaged upon arrival?

Damaged tiles, shortages or any other errors must be reported to Tileflair in writing as soon as possible after delivery, so please check your order very carefully. No refund or exchange will be given for faulty goods in respect of faults or variances which have been indicated by us prior to or at the time of sale.

What happens if my tiles are different to those ordered?

If there are any issues with the tiles you have received, please take some pictures showing any problems, then send them in an email to us at helpdesk@tileflair.co.uk. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can to find a resolution.

While we do our best to present the most accurate tile images regarding colour, pattern and shading on our website, sometimes there may be slight inconsistencies. With this in mind, we’d always recommend ordering a tile sample to see how it matches your specific interior or exterior environment. Please note that due to variations in batches, your tile sample may not exactly match your tile order, particularly if there has been an extended gap between ordering your sample and placing your full tile order.
