The tiles are enhanced with a dark grey grout, which not only helps to avoid the dirt showing up, on a high splash area, but further enhances the industrial look of these tiles.

Open shelves

This kitchen has a very modern feature – the wall-length open shelves. Not only practical because everything is easily accessible, they also enhance the spacious feel and they are beautiful too. The wood shelves and worktop, which are stained a similar tone warms the cool crisp white of the painted walls and metro tiles. The industrial nature of the metro tiles is further enhanced by the metal shelf brackets which add definition to the look.
